The Okanagan Valley offers some of the best camping in all of Canada. With such diverse terrain throughout the area, from dryer open areas in the south, to lush green forests in the north, and numerous lakes in between, there’s camping opportunities to meet everyone’s preferences.

All-season wilderness camping 10 minutes from downtown Vernon, and easy access to Silver Star Mountain; Large treed private full and partial service RV sites, tenting sites, hot showers, flush toilets, laundromat, fire pits, group sites, cabin, seasonal store, near town. Pet policy. Open May 15 – Sept 15

Swan Lake Recreation Resort – Vernon BC

Silver Star RV Park & Camping – Vernon BC

Swan Lake RV Park and Campground – Vernon BC

Plenty of shade, fire pits, warm showers. Free hot showers, firepits, canoe/boat rental, store, outdoor pool.


Sugar Lake Recreation Sites – Cherryville BC

Location: 50 km east of Vernon on Hwy 6; left at Frank’s Tempo Gas Station at Cherryville on the corner of #6 and Sugar Lake Road. Watch for signs.
Beautiful wilderness lake approximately 14 kilometers long for canoes, kayaks and small fishing boats. (fluctuating water levels and floating natural debris pose serious hazards for power boats and water-skiers – and not recommended) Lakeside sites and the ability to comfortably accommodate large RV’s, smaller units and tents, first come first serve, no electric, bring your own drinking water, closest telephone is in Cherryville, no cell service, pets on leash only.


Armstrong Kin RV Park – Armstrong BC

Canyon Farms RV Park – Kelowna BC

Located in rural East Kelowna, Canyon Farms RV is one of the several adult oriented Central Okanagan campgrounds on a small rural farm. The campground is 5 minutes from Canyon Regional Park and the Mission Creek Greenway, as well as easy access to Gallagher’s Canyon Golf & Country Club and Myra Canyon, Pets allowed.
