TENT CAMPING BRINGS YOU CLOSER TO NATURE
Arguably, so does RV camping, but there’s something about camping in a tent, sleeping (almost) on the ground, and communing with nature in such close quarters that really resonates with the human spirit.
RV CAMPING IS MORE COMFORTABLE
Nothing against sleeping on the ground. Bears do it all the time, and they all seem relatively happy. But when you’re used to sleeping in a bed, an air mattress that slowly leaks throughout the course of the night until that one rock you didn’t even know existed is now embedded in your back can make for a terrible night’s sleep. RV’s have mattresses. Also keeps the bears out.
TENT CAMPING ALLOWS YOU TO TRULY ‘CUT THE CORD’
No TV, no Wi-Fi, no chance to stream that new Netflix TV show. Tent camping removes the general luxuries that we’ve become accustomed to and allows us to return to a simpler time.
RV CAMPING ALLOWS FOR MODERN CONVENIENCES
Want to commune with nature AND watch Netflix? Then RVing is where it’s at. Most people live a fast paced life full of work and family obligations. Taking a trip in an RV allows you to escape the rat-race, enjoy the outdoors, but still have access to a functioning crock pot and microwave.
TENT CAMPING IS COST EFFECTIVE
Compared to almost any other type of vacation, tent camping tends to be the easiest on the wallet. A full setup for a small family shouldn’t cost you much more than a few hundred dollars and you can use it again and again. Tents are also relatively simple to set up and don’t require any sort of license or degree to operate.
RV CAMPING IS ALSO COST EFFECTIVE
Just not as cost effective as tent camping, but it does come with numerous benefits that are well worth the extra dollars. For one thing, it’s still not as costly as staying in a hotel, travelling on a plane, or eating out at a fancy restaurant. You get all that rolled into one with an RV because it’s your hotel, your travel, and a pretty great place to make meals.
WHO WINS?
Do we have a clear winner? Not really because in the end it’s based on personal preference. We sell RVs, so of course we’ll be biased because we LOVE RVing! A lot of benefits are similar and both offer a sense of escape, which is valuable because everyone deserves a break and to live life to the fullest. With that in mind, no matter which way you choose to go, the real winner is always going to be you!
